Molds are made from vertically laminated Baltic Birch plywood and are machined from blocks approximately 3.75" - 4" thick. It is recommended that you use buffer material (thicker wood, as shown in the video above) between the presses and the molds to prevent damage to the molds.
The width you select is a minimum width. Molds may be up to 1" wider depending on stock material.
Molds are clearcoated with polyurethane.
Use a non-stick barrier like clear shipping tape or plastic on the mold surfaces to prevent glue getting on the mold surfaces.

Lead time is approximately 4-6 weeks from receipt of order.
